We are currently seeking a Structural Packaging student intern for a Summer 2025 internship/co-op at our Flint Packaging Division. Position is to begin May 2025 thru Aug 2025.  During the internship/co-op you will collaborate with customers and other team members to evaluate customers' needs, or expectations to determine packaging solutions. As a student intern, you will gain experience with multiple materials including corrugated, molding foam, honeycomb, and green cell foam.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating drawings, building samples, and specifications for new structural packaging components
• Performing quality assurance on components
• Package testing
• Cost savings projects

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled or have taken packaging engineering, packaging science, packaging technology, structural design or related curricula
• Knowledge of basic package design
• Knowledge of Artios or similar design software
• Knowledge in the use of a CAD Cutting Table a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Creative thinking and problem solving skills
