The Engineering Intern will assist in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment. Under direct supervision and guidance of a mentor, this individual will provide drafting support to our Engineering teams, assist with design modifications, make design enhancements, and perform other design functions as well.
Simple project/product development tasks, including writing and/or verifying specifications, maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, equipment, and raw materials & product.
Assist in creating concepts and design approaches for new products, processes, and/or test methods.
Design, procure, and fabricate simple tooling & fixtures.
Complete basic tasks on engineering documentation.
Aid in our continuous improvement process program by identifying areas for improvement, suggesting solutions, and submitting ideas accordingly.
SolidWorks knowledge is preferred.
Ideal student candidates are pursuing a major or minor in mechanical engineering, packaging engineering, industrial engineering, applied engineering or related.
